Sam Alvey urges Leon Edwards to ‘get some humility’ after the No Contest

Leon Edwards needs to learn some humility, according to UFC veteran Sam Alvey.

Sam’s ‘Smile’n’, who doesn’t laugh at all while fighting, made Edwards explode for the way he behaved after the UFC Vegas 21 main event, which led to a No Or After Championship ‘Rocky’ hits ‘Remember the Name’ with a gloomy eye pocket in the second round.

Sam feels that Edwards is calling for a title picture behind Tour No in honor of his opponent and that the Britishman must ‘get some humility’.

“You won 1 round of 5 round fights against one who had 3 weeks to prepare … and you put it in the eye, twice, during your 7 minutes of activity. And that’s after nearly 2 years of not fighting. Get my husband a little humiliation ”, wrote Alvey in an Instagram comment aimed at Edwards.

Edwards has apologized for the pocket of his eye, but Muhammad feels the pair must settle their business in a rematch. Edwards, however, has set his sights on UFC gold and is looking at a title shot against the winner of the upcoming replay between Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal at UFC 261.

The 29-year-old has an eight-fight win streak and defeated Muhammad until he fouled in the second round. Edward is currently # 3 in the UFC welterweight rankings while Muhammad, who took the fight on short notice, is ranked # 13.
