Riverdale boss Sabrina crossover’s suggestion is “possible”

Riverdale executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has suggested that Sabrina crossover is “more capable than ever”.

Netflix’s Cooling Sabrina events it may have come to an end after its fourth season, but with the titular witch Kiernan Shipka in the same TV world as The CW’s Riverdale, a crossover between the two shows always looked like a real opportunity.

Now, Aguirre-Sacasa has revealed that there have been talks to transfer characters Sabrina and bring them to Archie and the gang.

Back in December, Shipka explained why she’s thinking Riverdale ‘need’ a crossover with Sabrina, says Comic book resources: “Honestly, I’m just thinking Riverdale they could use a witch.

“They’re going through a ton of stuff and they need a little celestial no matter what kind of vibes! They need a little extra power, they need someone familiar with repercussion, necromancy.

“They need that in their world and, I don’t know, I just think it would be a fun world if the two met at some point.”

Riverdale air on the CW in the USA. In the UK, you can stream via Netflix. Cooling Sabrina events seasons 1-3 are now streaming Netflix. First scene of season 4 on December 31st.
