On Sunday afternoon Burnley travel to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to face Spurs with both teams battling for a place in the Premier League. In a well-form run Burnley kicks a few yards above the relegation zone. In a bad run of form Tottenham Hotspur fall several places from the first place Spurs put in place. With two strong defensive teams fighting for a position in the Premier League almost nothing can happen. Further with Sean Dyche opposite José Mourinho it should be a real show.

Amazing Beer, Chips, and Steve Austin

Not sure who came first, Sean Dyche the comedian or the form run for Burnley recently, both deserve it not. First Dyche talked about what it looked like “Stunning” professional keeper Steve Austin. Then last week, it was reported that Burnley ‘s top keeper Nick Pope was a target for Tottenham.

Funny, Dyche talked about being willing to trade Pope for a while at the pub, beer and chips. Of course the crowds did not understand that he was referring to the current social environment.

Similarly, it was about how likely Dyche would be to go to the pub and get his drink and what he is talking about selling Nick Pope. Let’s talk about selling Nick Pope to Tottenham just days before they play. That’s the line about trying to hang on to Popey as best he can.

The point is, Dyche, as his team focuses on football and playing Tottenham, is not a summer transfer window. While some crisps or chips and a paint or two of lager in the visitors ’dressing room would be a nice way, Nick Pope doesn’t change sides. So in addition to Nick Pope playing keeper for Burnley, Hugo Lloris playing goalkeeper for Tottenham, and Sean Dyche drinking beer after the game, what can we expect in the game?
