Maor Melikson (Spokeswoman for Hapoel BS) (ONE system)
After 7 years in the position, Sharon Avitan wanted to end his position as the professional director of the youth department at the end of the season. The person who will lead the youth department starting next season will be Maor Melikson, who will be appointed professional director, as first reported in ONE.
Maor Melikson: “I am happy and excited to take on the role. It is an opportunity for me to return the love and support I have received from the club and the fans all these years. The goal before me is to develop the next generation of Hapoel Beer Sheva players. I want to thank Sharon Avitan for many years of work, giving from the heart “And concern for the department. I thank Alona Barkat and Assi Rahamim for trusting me.”
President of the club, Alona Barkat: “For years Sharon led the youth department with dedication and loyalty while having a great love for the game and the club, a love that also accompanied him as a player. I thank Sharon on behalf of the entire Hapoel Beer Sheva family for his work and generations of players who were educated and trained in the youth department. “Maor is very strongly connected to the future generation and the children in the youth department and I wish him great success.”
