Luis Suarez brings out Liverpool transfer advice over Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe

Former Liverpool man Luis Suarez believes the Reds would be better off signing Erling Haaland than Kylian Mbappe.

Widely regarded the two most promising talents in Europe, Haaland Borussia Dortmund and Mbappe Paris Saint-Germain are both tied for a move to Anfield.

Haaland, 20, has scored an incredible 32 goals in 30 games this season, and Mbappe, 22, scored his 100th Ligue 1 goal on Sunday.

Suarez also reached a landmark at the weekend when he scored his 500th club goal in Atletico Madrid ‘s victory over Alaves.

The fertile Uruguayan is certainly fully equipped to judge emerging strikers and there is no doubt that Haaland is the best talent compared to Mbappe.

“He [Haaland] He’s a great player, he’s at an amazing level, he has admirable physical strength, “Suarez told the Catalan revolution RAC 1 .

“He’s one of the best 9s in the world and he will explain a century. I’m a little more than Haaland, but Mbappe at a very good level. ”

Both Haaland and Mbappe have courted across Europe, and Atletico’s local rivals Real Madrid are believed to have been on the lookout as they look to close the gap at the top of La Liga.

Suarez has a goal of 19 goals in 25 games on the side of Diego Simeone who fired six points out of Los Blancos and four points away from Barcelona.

The 34-year-old moved to Atletico from Barcelona on a free transfer last summer and believes he has benefited from living in Spain.

“I think I was lucky to change a team in the same league, the same referees, and knowing for my players, I haven’t changed much,” Suarez said.

Suarez also named Atletico goalkeeper Jan Oblak for his praise after saving his first penalty in three years against Alaves, denying that he did Joselu to ensure that the his side the three points.

He said: “Oblak has a reason on a global level, after so long without a penalty save, he was lucky yesterday and helped the team that will give him confidence. ”
