Liverpool against Real Madrid threaten to threaten Paul Pogba’s choice to land

Liverpool have been linked with a move for Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma in the January transfer window.

With Georginio Wijnaldum still not panning a new contract at Anfield, ESPN has reportedly considered a move for Bissouma.

It has been reported that Manchester United, Arsenal and Monaco have been circulating – but Real Madrid are now said to be the biggest threat in Liverpool.

According to Defensa Central, Bissouma’s performances have caught the eye of manager Zinedine Zidane, who is captivated by her physical presence.

With the Bernabeu club calculating the cost of the coronavirus pandemic, they are said to be unable to fund a large-scale fundraiser for pavilion signing.

Zinedine Zidane and Jurgen Klopp could face a transfer battle in January

Their longstanding interest in Paul Pogba does not appear to follow a move in January despite uncertainty over the future of Manchester United.

The same goes for Rennes wonderkid Eduardo Camavinga, who drew a huge fee.

As a result, Bissouma was identified as a more affordable option with bids that Brighton could ask for € 35-40m to approve a contract.

With Liverpool and other clubs committed, Real Madrid are up against a battle to win the race for Bissouma, and the exit would be a huge blow for Brighton.

Yves Bissouma has caught the eye so far this season for Brighton

Liverpool’s transfer policy depends on whether they can tie down Wijnaldum, who will be out of contract in the summer.

Commenting on the fate of the midfielder last month, manager Jurgen Klopp said: “I can’t say much about that. I’d be happy if he stayed here – maybe that’s the only thing.

“But sitting here, I’m pretty happy with Guinea. You see [that] when you look at most of the lines! “
