The L39ION team of Los Angeles has announced the schedules for the UCI Continental team and the USA Cycling Domestic Elite team for 2021, confirming that new celebrities like Ty Magner and Freddy Ovett are coming on board next season.

Magner joins the L39ION Continental team after spending all three years with Rally. The 29-year-old American is a quick finisher with a Tour of Utah platform win on the list of career achievements. Ovett spent 2020 with the Continental Academy Cycling Academy squad. The 26-year-old Australian climber counts the top 10 of the Tour de Langkawi and the Herald Sun Tour on his career palmares.

Also arriving for next year are Alex Cowan, Angel Muñoz, and Sam Boardman, joining return riders Cory Williams, Eder Frayre, Hunter Grove, Lance Haidet, and Tyler Williams.

The Domestic Elite co-ed team will play plenty of talent in addition to Kendall Ryan coming over from Tibco-SVB, and Skylar Schneider coming together after three seasons with Boels-Dolmans. The seven-roster Domestic Elite roster also includes team founder Justin Williams as well as Ama Nsek, Avry Howes, Imeh Nsek, and Isaiah Oliver.

In total, the group counts 17 riders among its two teams.

In addition to racing international and domestic road events, L39ION – which will be supported by Zwift for the next two years – will also be active on the next year’s high-profile racing scene. The team will begin their 2021 campaign with events in the Zwift Racing Premier League Division.
