Kevin Hart will join the “Borderlands” movie based on the game series

Blanchett will play Lilith, a siren with magic powers. The original game follows four main characters, who are likely to lead the film as well. Apart from Roland and Lilith, the group of safe robbers in the game also consists of Brick, an oversized wrestler and Mordechai, a hunter and sniper. In the first game, the group is assisted by a mysterious entity that helps them break into a safe that only opens every 200 years and contains a dangerous monster called “The Destroyer”.

The Borderlands series includes 3 games and one intermediate game that mediates between the plot of the first game and the second. To date, the entire series has sold over 66 million copies worldwide, with the second game being the most successful with 24 million copies sold. The third game was released in 2019 and broke Gearbox company records at launch.

The film adaptation of the game was written by the creator of the series “Chernobyl”, Craig listens, but the plot has yet to be revealed. In addition to the film, a listener is currently busy creating a series based on another famous game, The Last of Us.
