Israeli Elections: Final elections suggest continued political closure

The final elections held before Tuesday’s elections suggested continued political closures, with neither the anti nor pro-Netanyahu blocs expected to get 61 seats to form a government.
The last poll broadcast by Channel 11 gave Likud Netanyahu Party 31 seats, and Yesh Atid with 19 seats, New Hope and Yamina tied for the third largest party with nine seats each, the Joint List at eight and the ultra-rectangular Torah United. Judaism (UTJ) and Shas with seven seats. Yisrael Beytenu won seven seats in this vote.

Labor and the Zionist Religious Party won five seats each, while Blue and White, Meretz and Ra’am crossed the election threshold with four seats each.

According to a Channel 11 poll, the anti-Netanyahu bloc would have 56 seats, while the pro-Netanyahu bloc would have 51 seats. Yamina and Ra’am, who have neither expressed support for the anti or pro-Netanyahu blocs, maintain the balance of power.

The Channel 12 poll also recommended that it be suspended. According to the election, the Likud Party would win 32 seats, followed by Yesh Atid with 18, New Hope and Yamina tied at nine each, the Joint List and Shas at eight, and United Judaism Torah and Yisrael Beytenu at seven.

At the bottom, Labor with six seats, followed by Blue and White, Meretz, Guilty Religion and Ra’am all won four seats each.

In this case, the anti-Netanyahu bloc would gain 56 seats, while the pro-Netanyahu bloc would receive 51, leaving Yamina and Ra’am as kings.

The last poll broadcast by Channel 13 showed similar results. Likud led by 30 seats, followed by Yesh Atid by 18, New Hope and Yamina tied for third place at 10 seats each, Shas and Joint with eight and UTJ retaining seven seats .

Both Labor and Yisrael Beitenu would get six seats each, the Zionist Religious Party with five, and then Blue and White, Meretz and Ra’am crossing the threshold of the election with four seats each.

In this scenario, the anti-Netanyahu bloc would gain 56 seats, and the pro-Netanyahu bloc would gain 50 seats, again leaving Yamina and Ra’am as kings.
