I-Digital establishes a network for mobile accessories: “20 stores within three years”

Not just Apple: iDigital is launching a new network of mobile devices under the name Goodiz. The network, which currently operates stores that sell the products of the technology giant Apple only, is expanding its activities through a new network, when for the first time it will market accessories that are not only for Apple devices, but for all types of devices (including Android).

The stores will sell many and varied product categories including covers, cables, chargers, car products, rechargeable batteries, speakers, headphones, and other products at prices that promise to be cheaper than those sold in the Apple store.

The chain’s first store is scheduled to open these days in the Golden Mall in Rishon Lezion, and another store is expected to open on the promenade in the city of Eilat during the next month. In total, the chain is planning to deploy about 20 stores with an average size of 70 square meters within three years. Idigital, managed by Ayelet Tzarfati-Rosen, is a company registered under the name Icon Group. The company is controlled by the Sky Fund, in partnership with the investment arm of Bank Hapoalim, Poalim Capital Market, and the Pitango Fund. Idigital was founded by Eran Tor, and is an official importer of Apple products to Israel. Today, the chain operates about 18 stores.

According to Idigital data, the cellular accessories sector is estimated at sales of about NIS 1 billion a year. The largest category in the field is the field of headphones, which is estimated at NIS 300 million a year, of which Airfood headphones make up about 60% of the market.
