Connect, communicate, and collaborate at Huawei DIGIX Lab

DIGIX Lab is divided into three main zones where developers, partners and technical enthusiasts can connect, communicate and collaborate in the community:

  1. Knowledge Zone: An area where visitors can experience Huawei’s “1 + 8 + N” ecosystem. This area showcases the latest smartphone models, and eight different types of Huawei devices including tablets, PCs, smart wearables and VR smart glasses. In addition, HUAWEI HiLink-supported third-party IoT home products are also displayed here.

  2. Connection zone: Multi-faceted zone with collaborative space and training rooms to support community building. Developer programs such as training, workshops, industry and networking events will take place in this area. At the same time, tech enthusiasts or individual developers can reserve the space to host community events related to mobile app development.

  3. Capacity zone: In this zone there are three meeting rooms where developers facing challenges while developing an app can meet with Huawei engineers or business teams to get hands-on support. There are four discussion destinations available at the lab to assist developers with the resource requirement.

Encouraging developer innovation through Huawei Mobile Services Ecosystem

The opening of DIGIX Lab complements other tools and programs available to developers in the region to drive innovation through the HMS ecosystem.

HMS recently launched HUAWEI Developer App, an official open platform for Huawei developers to manage their apps backend system, get the latest activity for developers and stay informed of upcoming events.

In addition, HMS will introduce three developer community programs in APAC this year, including HUAWEI Student Developers (HSD), HUAWEI Developer Groups (HDG) and HUAWEI development experts (HUAWEI). HDE) to help developers of all levels grow the HMS ecosystem. Developers at APAC will also be able to sign up for training courses to learn how to install HMS development tools into their apps and receive a “Huawei Developer Certificate” upon completion of the course.
