Google TV, the search giant’s latest attempt at TV software, will introduce a new “Basic TV” mode that eliminates smart TV features for simple access to TV Live and insert HDMI, 9to5Google reports. It is an inspiration to anyone who has ever wanted to drop their luxury TV because they prefer an outdoor climber or because they value privacy.
Google TV debuted on the new Chromecast, where it offered a new interface built on Google’s Android TV software, but will soon be offered as TCL-based software. and Sony’s upcoming televisions.
according to 9to5Google, you can select “Default TV” mode at setup. Doing so excludes operating system apps, content recommendations, and Google Assistant support. It is possible to revert back to the default interface at any time, but the default mode can only be selected when set. Unfortunately it is not clear what the interface will look like, as the ADT-3 dongle is developer-focused 9to5Google test the mode on which the live TV or HDMI hardware is not required. We also do not know how a basic method affects data collection.

A spokesperson from Google confirmed to 9to5Google that the mode is a feature of Google TV in particular, rather than Android TV 12.
There are many reasons why people might want to take away all the smart gadgets from smart TV. Many users rely on set top boxes from Apple, Roku, or Amazon for their streaming content, and a dual-interface built into their TV just gets underway . Others may want to continue using TV long after developers have stopped supporting the software and its apps, at which point it is helpful to be able to brought down to its essentials for improving performance.
