Fulham 1 – 2 Leeds

Fulham missed the chance to move out of the bottom three for the first time since December, losing 2-1 to Leeds thanks to winner Raphinha.

Scott Parker ‘s side knew they would be beaten to put them to the 17th ahead of Brighton vs Newcastle on Saturday afternoon, but with a slow start Luke Ayling was seen returning home within ten minutes. However, they were recovered when VAR sent it out to be upside down.

But Bamford took advantage of some lax attack when he fired home the Leeds-worthy opener in the 29th minute. Against the run of play, Fulham equalized just before the break when Joachim Andersen scored Fulham’s first home goal.

Leeds took the lead back shortly after the break when Bamford netted Raphinha (58) for a superb goal, with Fulham unable to gather a response, after just two hits on target in the second half. .

It was a missed opportunity for Fulham, who are still in 18th place and two points from safety, after playing two more games than Newcastle and Brighton just above it. Leeds move above Crystal Palace into 11th place and have finished their first league double over Fulham since the 1984-85 campaign in the second tier.
