Ex revenge: Inter lost 2: 1 to Sampdoria

Beginning of an article

All of Italy is waiting for the big battle between AC Milan and Juventus at San Siro. Earlier today (Wednesday) the 16th round of Serie A summoned Inter for a chance to qualify for the summit at least temporarily, but Antonio Conte’s side lost 2-1 to Sampdoria. Roma established themselves in third place with an easy 1: 3 in Crotone, and Lazio recorded a debut victory in 2021 thanks to a 1: 2 win over Fiorentina at the Olimpico. Another team that was surprised is Napoli, with 2: 1 against Spacia from the bottom.

Sampdoria – Inter 1: 2
After eight consecutive victories the Narazuri were stopped at Luigi Parris. Alexis Sanchez, who replaced Romulo Lukaku in the squad, missed a penalty in the 11th minute after a touch by Morten Torsby in the box. The momentum was reversed because in the 23rd minute, the ball hit the hand of Niccolò Barla and this time Sampdoria received a penalty kick from 11 meters, which was routed in by Antonio Kandra, ex-Inter, and made it 0: 1 for the locals.

7 minutes before the break, Keita Balde received a huge ball from the Danish Mikkel Damsgord and with his right foot sent the ball into the net and made it 0: 2 to Claudio Ranieri’s team. Another goal by a former Inter player. The visitors came up better in the second half and managed to double a shot from Stefan de Fry (65) thanks to a great leveling by Marcelo Brozovic of the corner kick. The comeback was unsuccessful this time, and Inter were defeated for the second time this season and for the first time since October.

Crotone – Rome 3: 1
Paulo Fonseca’s team established themselves in third place after a third consecutive victory and this time against the table lock and the safe candidate for relegation. Already in the eighth minute, Henrik Mkhitaryan sent a great wide ball with his left foot into the extension and Burja Maiorl, who replaced Edin Dzeko in the 11th, finished it properly and set up 0: 1. The Spanish striker celebrated his first double in Serie A in the 29th minute and doubled the result, when Mahitrian was honored with the third goal (35) from the penalty spot. Vladimir Golmich (71) recently shrank but did not prevent another loss. End Podgarno was on the Wolves’ roster but not a partner.

Naples – 2: 1 option
The Blues had hoped to put together a second straight win after a much less good period, but were surprised by an undefeated bottom rival in the league since early November 2020. After a goal by Andrea Patania (58), Ambala Anzola (68, Pendel) and Thomaso Povga (82) turned and raised the Specia above the red line. Her second goal came precisely after Ardian Ismaili was sent off with a second yellow card (77).

Lazio – Fiorentina 1: 2
The Eagles interrupted a streak of two winless games with a solid game. Already after five minutes Felipe Caisado put her in the lead at the end of an excellent team operation. Subsequently Chiro Immobilia’s goal was rightly disqualified for a dissent, but Serie A’s top scorer last year, made up for it with a strictly fit goal a quarter of an hour to go after positioning himself in the far corner after a corner kick and pressing close. Goal 11 this season for the Italian national team striker. Two minutes to the end Dawn and Ahovitch Dyke from the spot and shrank to Viola.

Atlanta – Pharma 0: 3
Gian Piero Gasperini’s team started the new civil year great with eight goals in 72 hours. Luis Muriel (15) was first on the scoreboard after shooting in with his left foot on the way to the ninth league goal of the season. Colombian teammate Duban Spata (48) doubled with the opening of the second half while Robin Gossens (61) completed a defeat for Parma after a mistake in the visitors’ defense that continues to get tangled up. Pharma Liberani, Pharma’s coach, has reportedly paid the price following recent results.

Cagliari – Benevento 2: 1
The second season of The Witches in the Premier League is progressing not bad at all and with a third win in four games the top team suddenly looks not so far away. The Rosobello were the first to take the lead from a goal by Joao Pedro (20), but two goals three minutes from the feet of Marco Sao (41) Alessandro Toya (44) set up Levante for three points. Five minutes to the end Nahitan Nandes was sent off in direct red for arguing with the referee.

More results: Sesotho – Genoa 1: 2, Bologna – Udinese 2: 2, Turin – Verona 1: 1.
