Dr. Disrespect is banned from the Call Of Duty contest, Similar to Twitch Ban

Dr. Disrespect was banned from the upcoming Toronto Ultra 100k Call of Duty Contest: Warzone Contest, possibly due to his controversial Twitch ban.

The reason behind it Dr. DisrespectTwitch’s ban may still be a mystery, but it could also affect the eligibility of tournaments, as the popular climber was banned from competing in the upcoming Toronto Ultra call of Duty competition. This is probably due to the fact that the tourney will be broadcast live on Twitch, and allowing the good doctor to participate would be a breach of conditions.

Dr. Disrespect’s digital drama began in June 2020 when Twitch abruptly banned the popular and often unexplained controversial climber, a ban that has since been proven to be permanent and reckless. While the Doc had earned a reputation for being brash, and was briefly banned by Twitch in the past for filming himself and others in a twitch at TwitchCon, the second to issue a ban without cause, and without an expiry date either. After a few months of deliberation and silence, Doc resurfaced YouTube to stream back, and while he has offered an insight into how the ban affected him, both personally and professionally, to this is no official reason why it was permanently removed from Twitch.

Doc has thought about the rationale behind the ban, but otherwise has largely moved on from Twitch and the whole debate, until it became clear that the ban was going to affect him. its lifespan beyond its ability to flow on stage. Dr. Disrespect and co-climber, Zack “ZLaner” Lane, with whom Doc has played Call of Duty: Warzone on YouTube, and the winner of last year’s Toronto Ultra Competition, they planned to take part in this year’s competition. But as reported by Game Rant, ZLaner announced via livestream that it would not be a disappointment for Dr. Disrespect to participate in the contest.

I got a message back from the organizers from Toronto Ultra and Call of Duty, who are the ones pulling the contest away, and said that Doc is not allowed. ”

When asked about the case, Doc could not answer that he did not know why he was not allowed to participate in the contest, but it is certainly not a difficult connection to make. Twitch is the only platform that handles the official live video stream of the tourney, and if Dr. Disrespect participates in the contest, Twitch would have no choice but to stream it, which would create Defense gap in his inhibition. That gap could be one that he or other similarly banned gamers could take advantage of in the future, and Twitch has many of its own legal problems without creating capacity for more. That, of course, is entirely profiteering, but it is reasonable to profit, especially since Doc ‘s ban remains unexplained otherwise.

An Toronto Ultra Call of Duty: Warzone the tournament kicks off tomorrow, March 1, at 1 PM EST, and offers a first-place prize of $ 100,000. ZLaner still plans to play, but unfortunately, it does so without the Doc.
