Cyprus to recognize Israeli green passport, open to Israeli tourists

Cyprus will recognize Israel’s green passport starting April 1, Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi announced Tuesday.

Ashkenazi spoke to his Cypriot group and thanked him, telling him “to prepare the beaches, hotels and restaurants for the Israelis awaiting their return to Cyprus.”

Israelis who have received the vaccine will be allowed to enter the country without showing a negative coronavirus test and will not have to enter quarantine.
