KUALA LUMPUR, January 25 – Remember Cyberpunk 2077? CD developer Projekt Red has announced the release of version 1.1, the game ‘s first major update aimed at fixing many of its weird bugs. The update is available for download across all platforms the game has released including PC, PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox One and Stadia.

The expected open game, set in a dystopian future, was famously deceived and put down by issues when it debuted in December 2020.

Worst of all, it was not easy to play on an old console. The problem was so severe that Sony had to remove the game from the PlayStation Store as many gamers expressed their frustration and dissatisfaction with the game. The maker offered full token refunds for the game on December 17th. Currently, Cyberpunk 2077 still did not return to the store.

The developer tweet that the latest update is aimed at several stability improvements and bug fixes. According to the patch notes, most of the fixes relate to missions that had game-breaking wisdom that prevented players from advancing further into the game.

CD Projekt Red explained that there are several improvements to the token version of the game. He said the patch will fix a number of crashes on the basic PS4 model and offer crowd performance optimization on the PS4 Pro and PS5. As for the Xbox One version, the patch is said to improve memory optimization in several areas.

As for the PC version of the game, the latest patch is said to repair game startup crashes that happen when you load caches on Nvidia graphics cards. He also notes that gamers with the Steam version of the game can now achieve performance while in offline mode. It is noteworthy that offline modes must be enabled before you start the game.

The studio has already announced that they are working on another major piece after the release of version 1.1, which is expected to arrive several weeks after the standard piece. CD Projekt Red also announced that it will release a free update to get the best game for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in the second half of 2021.

Big bugs have been introduced

That being said, there are a number of gamers on it recitation that patch v1.1 made the game worse. One of the worst cases was reported by a PS5 gamer @comtar who said the child broke the game for him / her. Unfortunately, this introduced game crash bug cannot be fixed by skipping the call, dying, reloading or loading another save file.

Perhaps even more troubling is the fact that several gamers on the Projekt Red CD forum say that the game does not start after being patched. One member even goes back to an earlier version of the game.

It seems that this particular problem could be unique to the PC version of the game. Several forum members suggested removing any installed mods and subsequently verifying the integrity of their saved game files before running them again.

From the sound of things, CD developer Projekt Red still has plenty of fires to put out. Hopefully they can solve the above problems in their next child. – SoyaCincau
