Cumbria has recorded 46 newly confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, according to Public Health England.
This is the lowest number recorded by the county in 2021 and is the first 24-hour period in a time where the increase was less than 50.
Barrow, Carlisle, Copeland, Eden and South Lakeland recorded a one-figure rise in new cases.
Allerdale was the only area with a double-digit rise.
The 46 new cases are down on the 52 announced yesterday, the 76 last Tuesday (February 16) and the 74 on February 9 and 128 on February 2.
Cumbria has now recorded 27,078 cases since the outbreak began, but most of these are no longer active diseases.

- Allerdale: 4756 (+15), 4,864.9 per 100,000
- Barrow-in-Furness: 4,076 (+5), 6,079.1 per 100,000
- Carlisle: 8,036 (+9), 7,394.3 per 100,000
- Copeland: 2,956 (+6), 4,335.4 per 100,000
- Eden: 2,914 (+5) 5,472 per 100,000
- South Lakeland: 4,340 (+6) 4,129.9 per 100,000
The Government also said that as of 9am on Tuesday, a further 8,489 cases had been laboratory confirmed in the UK.
It will bring the total to 4,134,639.
A further 548 people had died within 28 days of taking a positive test for Covid-19 on Tuesday, bringing the UK total to 121,305.
Individual figures published by UK statistical organizations for deaths where Covid-19 was reported on the death certificate, along with additional data on deaths that have occurred in the past few days, show that there have now been 141,000 deaths with Covid-19 in the UK.
Government data up to 22 February also show that, of the 18,558,969 jobs provided in the UK to date, 17,916,181 were initial doses – an increase of 192,341 on the previous day.
Some 642,788 were second doses, an increase of 18,463 on figures released the previous day.
