Crayta game goes free-to-play for everyone on Stadia

New Delhi, February 14 (IANS): The initial edition of ‘Crayta’ game is now completely free-to-play on Google’s game streaming platform, Stadia.

Previously, Crayta was a buy-to-play title, though it has remained one of several free Stadia Pro games included with the optional subscription. ever since its launch nearly a year ago, AndroidCentral reports.

Crayta, developed by UK studio ‘Unit 2 Games’ and looks a bit like Minecraft which aims to create a game with the art style and building mechanics of Fortnite.

Players were able to create their own games for their 3D avatars to explore and interact with.

Crayta was the first Stadia title to support State Share and now it is also supported for ‘Crowd Play’ which means live climbers would be able to open their play sessions to their audience for an easier way to engage with fans.

The game also gets a Battle Pass system that would bring a wealth of cosmic spells to complete in-game challenges in several community games.

In addition, the company announced ‘Journey to the Savage Planet’, ‘Lara Croft’ and the ‘Guardian of Light’ as well as ‘Enter the Gungeon’ for Stadia Pro writers.

Google has announced that nearly 400 new games are on the way for their Stadia Cloud game streaming service.

In a recent interview with MobileSyrup, Stadium Games Director Jack Buser said most of these games would arrive in 2021 and beyond.
