Borussia Dortmund – Union Berlin 2: 1, watch the game summary

The 13th round of the German league opened tonight (Friday) with the surprise victory of Union Berlin 1: 2 over Borussia Dortmund. The Black Yellows, who parted ways with coach Lucian Fabre just five days ago following a streak of disappointing results, have since managed to beat Werder Bremen but have continued to show instability even under interim coach Edin Tresik. In the middle, the young Yusufa Mokoko made history when he scored his debut goal in his senior career and became the youngest conqueror in Bundesliga history.

After a zeroed-out first half, Liverpool striker Taiwi Avani pushed a ball that bounced wide after a corner and gave the hosts a surprising advantage in the 57th minute. Less than three minutes passed and the wonder boy Mokoko scored his first goal of his career with a beautiful kick from an extension and equalized the result. Dortmund looked for the turnaround and pressed Union to their hair, but once again absorbed a corner kick in the 78th minute, this time from the head of Marvin Friedrich who set up the final score.

Dortmund, who are missing the injured Arling Holland today, recorded their fifth loss of the season, lost a chance to maintain a reasonable lead over Leverkusen and were left with 22 points. On the other hand, Union Berlin won for the first time after four games and clung to its opponent with 21 points.
