At the end of season 2 ‘Mandalorian’ is a legendary character ‘Star Wars’

Warning: This review contains spoilers for season 2, program 8 of ‘The Mandalorian.’

The legendary “Star Wars” character returned at the end of season 2 of “The Mandalorian”, and this is one thing you want to see playing out in real time.

What happened

The legendary “Star Wars” character appears near the end of the episode. The Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) has defeated Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) in a fight. The Dark Troopers boarded the Imperial star, however, and were looking to break into the main cabin to destroy Mando and his crew.

X-Wing will then appear on the map and reach the ship. A character is going out in a black cloak, with a green light glow. The character goes through the Dark Troopers, destroying each of them.

Yes, if you haven’t already figured it out, the featured character is, of course, Luke Skywalker.

How did it play out?

Luke appeared in front of Mando, asking Grogu’s permission to take him with him to teach him Force techniques. Mando asked if he was a Jedi, and Luke said he was.

Grogu looked uneasy about joining Luke, and Mando didn’t think Grogu wanted to go. So Luke explained the situation.

  • “He wants your permission. He is strong with the Force, but untrained talent is nothing. I will give my life to protect the Child, but it will not be safe until he masters his abilities. ”

Who played Luke Skywalker?

  • The show credits Mark Hamill with the role. He did not appear to be another actor. Another similar actor who stood in Skywalker’s place with Hamill’s face was digitally added to the character.

Any other mythical characters?

Luke was not the only mythical character to appear in the end.

  • R2-D2 briefly appeared on the show as well. He rolled over the screen and spoke to Grogu (Baby Yoda for a few seconds).
  • Bib Fortuna, one of the henchmen of Jabba the Hutt, also appeared in the final credits scene.
