Between One-punch man, founding member, and multiple nods to popular fantasy franchises, Valhalla Creed Assassin is essentially the Metropolitan Museum of Easter Eggs. But the best surprise – or at least the one that fans are sure to enjoy the series the most – is that it won’t show up until late in the game.

Destroyers continue for Valhalla Assassin’s Creed.

As soon as you settle into Ravensthorpe, about 10 hours into the game, you’ll be able to upgrade a number of new builds. The creation of the Hidden Ones Bureau will give Hytham, the young Hidden One, a crazy new office. As this is a video game, it will reward you with a mission: Hold down six pages of codex, set in several decommissioned Hidden Ones Bureaus of England. As the name implies, all these Bureaus are off the beaten path. But they are worth a look, because by doing so inspire an Easter egg by Bayek of Siwa, a player character Sources of Assassin’s Creed.

Each Hidden Ones Bureau features a variety of platform and environment puzzles. Burning ability, like Incendiary Powder Trap, can help take down any stone barricades, but it is not necessary. There is almost always a jar of flammable oil somewhere nearby, and a convenient walkway that allows you to transport it to the barricade without question. (Whether you set yourself on fire in the process of blowing up the barricade is another matter.)

In other words, once you find the Hidden Ones Bureau, you seem to have a way to finish it. They are located in:

  • Ledecestre, in the northeast of the city
  • Lunden, outside the east wall
  • Colcestre, next to the southern refuges
  • Jorvik, near the theater in the southwest
  • Central forest in freakin ’middle now in southwest Glowecestrescire
  • Wincestre, on the west side, just south of St. Peter’s Church

Once you’ve rounded out the six codex pages, head back to Ravensthrope and talk to Hytham. He gives a real thank you – honestly offensive for an action that lasts the length of a wide-ranging role-playing game – and mentions that Reda, a black market merchant, has an old piece of writing. That’s where things get real.

When you ask Reda about the script, he quickly replies: “Oh, that old scratch? Yes, it’s just a short letter from one secret to another. “

Click on it to get its hands on it, and it says, “A friend gave it to me to keep it safe. His name was Bayek. Egyptian man. Very kind. “(One wonders just how old Reda is. Bayek ‘s work took place largely during the Ptolemaic Era, more than two thousand years ago, while Valhalla located in the late 800s.)

After a conversation with Reda, he pulls back the curtain to the left of her tent, revealing a podium with a letter on it. Anyone play Sources of Assassin’s Creed he will immediately recognize it as a love letter Bayek wrote to his wife, Aya. The name is not mentioned, but the clues – that it is written on papyrus; that it refers to several members of the Egyptian pantheon; that he is considering a nearer start, the origins, if you will, of the Hidden Ones – are a dead giveaway together. And it’s not just a wasteful piece of text. It is read out by Abubakar Salim, the player behind Bayek.

Oh, yeah, and you get some sweet, elegant weapons (the appropriately named Hidden Ones set) for knocking down all Hidden Ones Bureau. With two equipped pieces, you get an increase in murder damage, as long as you stay in cover for 10 seconds or more. Equip all five pieces, and buff your headshot damage. The gear is aligned with the Raven skill tree, so you’ll see even more stat bonuses if you’ve invested heavily in those nodes. There’s also a dagger – a Wolf-attached Suttungr Claw – that will ramp up your critical damage with every hit.

It’s a good gear, but the Easter egg is the real prize. according to our truly scientific approach, Sources of Assassin’s Creed the best assassin’s Creed game. Personally speaking, this is my favorite game in the series – a recap of all assassin’s Creed he may not have laid the foundations, all wrapped up in a documentary emotional wall with some of the strongest characters since Ezio’s three-game escape. Hearing Bayek’s voice was immediately transportable. Who knew Alexandria Library was just a stone’s throw away from the back streets of old Londoninium?
