‘American Crime Story: Impeachment’ Halts Produced by COVID-19 on Set

Advanced cases of COVID-19 were recorded on the set “Impeachment: American Crime Story,” encouraging production to shut down, Variety learned.

The results affected those filming in Zone A, which includes a team and those on the crew who communicate with the team. Sarah Paulson is expected to play Linda Tripp, Beanie Feldstein as Monica Lewinsky, and Clive Owen as Bill Clinton. Michael Uppendahl is active producing and directing.

“Impeachment,” based on President Clinton’s relationship with Monica Lewinsky and the ensuing impeachment, is produced by 20th Television and FX Productions. The series had recently started filming in the autumn and is now resting until January.

Ryan Murphy’s production is far from the only television series on which advanced coronavirus cases affected a set. Mar Variety reportedly, “Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet” recently closed for 11 days – and encouraged several crew members who had been positive for the deadly virus – among more than 12 cases of COVID -19.

Other record productions include CBS Studios’ “Why Women Kill” and Sony Pictures TV’s “Call Your Mother” – which, like “Mythic Quest,” is also filmed on CBS Radford. on “Family Reunion” on Netflix at Paramount Studios, NBC Universal “Mr. Mayor ”and Warner Bros.’s“ The Kelly Clarkson Show ”and“ Young Sheldon ”. As previously reported, Ava DuVernay’s Colin Kaepernick script series “Colin in Black & White” recorded nine episodes among members of the crew preparing the Californian-based production of Netflix Gardena, which begins with the film’s next month.
