A pilot course graduation ceremony will be held on Wednesday, 39 trainees completed the course – Channel 20

This coming Wednesday, a graduation ceremony for Flight Course No. 181 will be held at the Hatzerim base, where flight wings will be awarded to graduates. The ceremony will be attended by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Bnei Gantz, Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi, Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Amikam Nurkin and the alumni families.

The pilot course will be completed this year by 39 trainees, 37 boys and two girls. The graduates underwent a complex course that lasted three years, during which they specialized in the various aircraft and completed an academic degree. The graduates who will lead the Air Force’s operational activities in the coming years have been trained to be at the forefront of the IDF’s operational and strategic spearheads.

The Order of the Wings was held this year under the banner “Air Warrior Figure.” The current generation of air fighters is characterized by courage and connection to Israeli society, while specializing in advanced technological capabilities, decision-making and dealing with current time scenarios in the best possible way. The air crews prevent a deep mission for the purpose of maintaining the security of the State of Israel, and are aware of the risks in completing this task.

Due to the corona virus, the graduation ceremony will be held in a limited manner, with advance preparation and precautions. The air show is adjusted and the presence of the families will be reduced. The ceremony will be broadcast onLIVE On IDF and Air Force platforms to allow relatives of pilot graduates to watch from afar and get excited with their loved ones.
