Another 15 people have died in Lancashire hospitals after testing positive for coronavirus.
The area’s hospital death toll since the outbreak began is now 3,310, the latest NHS England figures show.
These are cases where a patient has tested positive within 28 days of death or where Covid-19 is mentioned on their death certificate.
They do not include deaths in care homes or community settings.
Lancashire Teaching Hospitals recorded six new deaths. Three patients died on February 19, two died on February 20 and one died on February 21.
Six deaths were also recorded at the Southport and Ormskirk Hospital Trust, including two on 19 February, three on 20 February and one on 22 February.
Morecambe Bay University Hospitals recorded two deaths on 21 February and one on 22 February.
No further deaths were reported at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals or East Lancashire Hospitals.

- Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust University Hospitals: 553 deaths
The number of coronavirus deaths in UK hospitals has risen 437 in Tuesday’s lowest increase of 2021.
NHS England has announced a further 372 deaths today, Scotland reported a further 56 deaths, Wales has four more deaths, and Northern Ireland recorded a further five deaths.
Yesterday the death toll rose by 191, which was down 24 percent on the previous Monday, when 251 deaths were announced.
Last Tuesday, Feb. 16, hospital tax rose 540, the lowest increase Tuesday this year. On the previous Tuesday, February 9, the UK coronavirus hospital death toll rose 583.
NHS England said: “A further 372 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19), have died, bringing the total number of hospital deaths in England to 81,854.
“Patients ranged in age from 28 to 99 years old. Everyone but 16 (ages 44 to 99) knew about health conditions.
“The date of death runs from December 9, 2020 to February 22, 2021 with the majority on or after February 14. Their families have been notified.”
The latest numbers come the day after Boris Johnson announced the roadmap out of lockdown for England.
