A European cellular provider has chosen Alot to provide cyber security services to its customers

The dual Allot company reports today that the European mobile service provider Tier-1 has chosen Allot’s security solutions in order to provide comprehensive cyber security services to its customers. Service subscribers will pay a monthly fee, which will be shared between the service provider and Allot.

Allot Secure is the first platform to provide mobile users with a cyber security user experience on and off the network, including configuration, reporting and alert management. The service provider will implement NetworkSecure and Endpoint Secure, 2 solutions from the Allot security family.

NetworkSecure is a network-based solution, offering zero intervention, with no customer operation and no requirement to install an application from the end customer. With NetworkSecure, the service provider can offer its customers protection against cyber threats, including “malware” viruses, “phishing” attempts and ransom demands.

The NetworkSecure solution will be provided with the EndpointSecure solution, which ensures that the client is protected from cyber threats even when they are not connected to the service provider’s network.

Allot’s security solutions family is the leading solution in a network-based market, protecting more than 20 million cellular users worldwide. Allot reported that some service providers have achieved up to 50% adoption rates of NetworkSecure-based services.

“Following a rigorous review and evaluation process, Allot Secure was selected based on its excellent cyber protection capabilities, including encrypted traffic,” said Hagai Katz, vice president of cyber security at Allot. “Once again, Allot Secure is attracting attention as a cyber security solution that can increase the service provider’s average revenue (ARPU) revenue and brand loyalty, alongside generating new revenue.”
